Bird Says She Will Challenge Tom Miller for Attorney General

DES MOINES, Iowa – On Thursday, Iowa Attorney General-elect Brenna Bird announced the launch of her transition website: www.BrennaBirdAG.com. On November 8, Bird was elected by Iowa voters to serve as the first Republican Attorney General of Iowa since 1979. As she begins to plan her transition into the office, the website will serve as a venue for ongoing updates from the transition team.

The website will allow Iowans to share their input and feedback with the new Attorney General. Additionally, those interested in serving a role with the Attorney General’s office are invited to submit cover letters and resumes through the website for ongoing consideration by Bird and her team.

“I am honored to have received the trust of my fellow Iowans in last Tuesday’s election,” Bird said. “As Attorney General, I am committed to remaining open and accessible to the residents of the state of Iowa and always seeking their feedback. Through this transition phase, www.BrennaBirdAG.com will be the first step in that process.”

“Finally, as we seek to build the best team possible to serve Iowans in the Attorney General’s office, I want to encourage those interested in seeking a role in the office to visit the website and submit their cover letter and resume,” Bird said. “I’m excited for the days ahead and I can’t wait to get to work on behalf of Iowans.”
