DES MOINES – On Wednesday, Brenna Bird announced her first television ad, titled “Give ‘Em The Bird,” in the Iowa Attorney General’s race. The ad focuses on Bird’s record as a county prosecutor and how she will take on the Biden administration to protect Iowans’ freedoms.

“As a county attorney, I proudly stand for the rule of law and will do the same as Iowa’s Attorney General,” said Brenna Bird. “The federal government is trampling on the Constitution and our freedoms, and it must stop. When I am elected Attorney General, I will protect Iowa from Biden’s radical policies.”

The ad will run statewide in multiple media markets. Bird’s campaign recently received a $1 million contribution from the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) as they see the Iowa Attorney General’s race as their top pick up opportunity this cycle.

Brenna Bird is the Republican candidate for Attorney General of Iowa challenging incumbent Democrat Tom Miller, she challenged Miller unsuccessfully in 2010. As the elected County Attorney for Guthrie County since 2018, Bird has helped keep Iowa families safe by getting criminals off the street, advocating for victims of crime, and standing up for law enforcement. Bird has been a prosecutor since 2016 and her leadership has been recognized by county attorneys throughout Iowa who have chosen her as President-elect of the Iowa County Attorney Association.
