The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) reported that service was restored at 11:40 a.m. for all three domains. The cause was determined to be a third-party vendor who experienced a service disruption that caused the domains to be unavailable.

The OCIO stated that some commercial websites were impacted as well. They also stressed that while the domains experienced a service disruption, they did not experience a security breach.
