Noem is considered a prospective presidential candidate in 2024. Her popularity among conservatives soared during the pandemic as she resisted shutting down her state’s economy, something that earned criticism from the left. She came under fire from conservatives when she vetoed a bill that banned transgender students from female sports, but then issued an executive order instead.

“We are grateful to once again welcome nationally prominent voices and leaders to Iowa for the FAMiLY Leadership Summit,” Bob Vander Plaats, president, and CEO of The FAMiLY Leader, said in a released statement. “From pastors, authors, and entertainers, to thought leaders and elected officials, the Summit’s star-studded lineups through the years are a recognition of the prominence Iowa plays in the national discussion and the unique stage the Summit provides to explore how faith impacts every sphere of life.”

“Now in its tenth year, with the addition of Gov. Noem and more speakers yet to be announced. I genuinely believe this will be the best FAMiLY Leadership Summit yet!” he added.

Other confirmed speakers for the 2021 Summit include:
