URBANDALE, Iowa – The FAMiLY Leader announced South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem will join a lineup of speakers at the 10th annual FAMiLY Leadership Summit at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines on July 16, 2021.
Noem is considered a prospective presidential candidate in 2024. Her popularity among conservatives soared during the pandemic as she resisted shutting down her state’s economy, something that earned criticism from the left. She came under fire from conservatives when she vetoed a bill that banned transgender students from female sports, but then issued an executive order instead.
