“I am honored to have been selected to serve Iowans on the House Budget Committee. I will use this position to help rein in Washington’s out-of-control spending habits and check Democrats’ efforts to fund a liberal wish list on the taxpayers’ dime. The taxpayers are my bosses, and this will allow me to better serve them,” she said in a released statement.

“Iowans are tired of the way Washington overspends their money with no accountability or transparency. I will be their unwavering voice as I work to reform our broken spending system and serve as the advocate taxpayers have been missing in DC,” Hinson added.
