New ad features DeSantis plan for southern border

A pro-Ron DeSantis PAC releases a new ad highlighting his plan to deploy the military to the southern border allowing deadly force to be used against Mexican drug cartel members.

DES MOINES, Iowa – Never Back Down, a super PAC supporting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign will air a new ad, entitled “Stone Cold Dead,” highlighting the governor’s plan to secure the southern border including deploying troops to the southern border to stop illegal entries and engage members of Mexican drug cartels crossing the border with deadly force.

“The cartels are killing tens of thousands of our fellow citizens,” DeSantis is quoted in the ad. “We have to defend our people. We’re going to use force and we’re going to leave them stone cold dead.”

The ad is part of a large ad buy announced on August 25th and will begin airing on television in Iowa and New Hampshire this week.

Bill Melugin: “He intends to allow for deadly force to be used against anybody cutting through the border wall.”

Gov. Ron DeSantis: “The cartels are killing tens of thousands of our fellow citizens. We have to defend our people. We’re going to use force and we’re going to leave them stone cold dead, no excuses. We will get the job done.”
