DES MOINES, Iowa – SFA Fund, Inc., (SFA), former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s Super PAC, will release their second round of television ads for the 2024 presidential campaign starting Thursday, The Iowa Torch has learned.
The first ad, entitled, “Spine,” will air in Iowa starting Thursday. The ad opens with Greg Gutfeld of Fox News stating, “Haley shows us what foreign policy looks like, with a spine.”
Another commentator later in the 30 second ad states, “She is the suprise rock star of this administration.”
The ad focuses on Haley’s foreign policy chops, in particular her stance toward China, that has been a major focus of her campaign.
“When I am president, we will no longer give money to countries that hate America,” Haley says in an excerpt of a speech, included in the ad.
“We need to take China head-on. The way you do that is to say China will no longer buy any American soil whatsoever. And we don’t stop there, we take back the soil they have already purchased,” she adds in a different speech excerpt, used in the ad.
This ad is part of a $7 million investment the super PAC has made in Iowa.
“Haley is the only candidate in this race with a proven track record of standing up to tyrannical leadership at home and abroad. She was the first to take a strong stance on China and she hasn’t let up yet. While other candidates are a laughingstock to foreign enemies, Nikki Haley is a force to be reckoned with,” SFA Lead Strategist, Mark Harris, told The Iowa Torch in response to the super PAC’s next round of television ads of the cycle.
SFA reports $18,696,847.33 in total recepts in 2023, according to the super PAC’s FEC filing, and reports that it had $17 million cash on hand at the end of June.
