The Dallas County Republican Party announcement said, “As Republican candidates grapple to win important state and local seats, two prominent national wrestlers head to Dallas County, Iowa to rally local action and support for the party.”

“This will be our all-star yearly fundraising event as we gather to rally support and organization for local, state and national candidates.” Kelley Koch, chair of the event said in a released statement. “It’ll be an evening of inspirational stories from two of the best wrestling coaches in the U.S., both winners of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. This will be a night of amazing accomplishments and national Washington insider stories.”

Koch said Gable will focus on the need for leadership, excitement, and motivation within the party. Jordan promises some inside-the-beltway stories.

“From suburban, rural and ethnic voter growth, Dallas County now has a broad voter appeal and is quickly becoming a ‘bellweather’ Iowa county,” Ronald Forsell, chairman of the Dallas County Republican Party said. “It’s the first of a series of events to make sure all our county knows how to get involved and engaged.”

“Our goal is to bring all Iowa citizens together for an exciting, positive evening of fun as we work together for our nation,” he added.
