Grassley will hold a town meeting in Davis County on Thursday, July 8 as part of his annual 99 county meetings. The meeting will be held from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Mutchler Community Center located at 900 North East Street in Bloomfield.

“I’m happy we’ve returned to business as usual after an unprecedented year and I can continue hosting my town meetings,” he said in a released statement. “Representative government is a two-way street. I appreciate the opportunity to hold town meetings, answer questions and take comments from Iowans.”

Grassley has held at least one meeting in every county, every year since he was first elected to serve in the U.S. Senate. He takes and answers questions on any subject raised. Iowans set the agenda.

Axne will hold two “Connect with your Congresswoman” town halls on Thursday and Friday in Polk County and Guthrie County.

On Thursday, July 8, she will be at Outside Scoop in Ankeny at 2410 SW White Birch Drive at 5:15 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. On Friday, July 9, Axne will meet with constituents at the Casey Creamery at 103 E. Logan St. in Casey at 1:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m.

Axne will provide attendees an update on her legislative work in Congress and hear concerns directly from her constituents.
