U.S. Senator Joni Ernst held a tele-town hall with Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig to discuss her efforts to support Iowa’s agriculture community.

DES MOINES, Iowa – U.S. Senator Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, held a tele-town hall on Tuesday with Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig to answer questions and discuss her continued efforts to support Iowa’s agriculture community.

Also on Tuesday, Ernst questioned former Iowa Governor and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack who was appointed by President Joe Biden to once again lead the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He had his confirmation hearing before the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry who voted in favor of his nomination.
